Apparently you don’t understand how coffee is made. Coffee is made by boiling water at 212 degrees, you should expect it to be 190 degrees or more. Unless it is an iced coffee which is cold. Please be aware that iced coffee is cold enough to cause frostbite, we don’t need McDonalds to be sued because you spilled

The fan is hitting the radiator too. Plus no shroud, so I assume it overheats.

That’s a Federal violation not a state violation and it’s a violation of the requirements of a vehicle sale, not operation. The Federal and Ohio laws for vehicle operation only make it illegal to remove or modify any OEM installed emissions equipment, since the defeat device is factory installed it would not be

There was no mention of the car failing an emissions test, so any registration issues are moot. There is no way to retroactively pull an emissions certificate, so, legally speaking, it’s currently compliant with Ohio’s emissions requirements.

Smog compliance is required to sell a car, not drive it. The only requirement for driving is the factory smog equipment must remain in place.

It defines operable as “can be driven under its own 2.0- liter TDI engine power.” But what is the definition of driven? You could say driven means “legally driven” in which case the car would have to meet all road legal standards.

I think what really killed popup headlights was the demise of the sealed beam headlight. Once you can design a headlight to match the lines on a car popup headlights are just a pointless cost.

I’m sure VW will “decommission” the engines too, just like in cash for clunkers.

Soon enough we’ll see pictures of hyperloop test tracks rusting away and another surprised article on jalopnik wondering what went wrong.

If your plan relies on a highly trained professional that is able to explain and an intelligent consumer that can understand the nuances of different levels of autonomous vehicles it’s doomed to failure. Most engineers designing the systems don’t agree on the minutia.

Fake but accurate is not a defense. Honestly I don’t even think his “1973" picture is from 1973. It’s monochrome and a much older type of photography but I don’t know the skyline of NYC well enough to date it.

Sorry, take your BS somewhere else.

The Patriot is slightly better but the Compass and Caliber are tied for last place.

“Jeep Compass, better then a 14 year old Ford.” The ad copy just writes itself.

Some people don’t fit in seat belts. That’s not the entire 10% but I’m sure the vision of someone straining straining to squeeze their overflowing lard into their seat belt will haunt you for hours.

It’s broken down twice and it hasn’t even made it to its home port yet. It’s not quite the Titanic but it’s well beyond “growing pains.”

The Fraternal Association of Police is not amused by your sense of humor and want to know why you were taking pictures of their presidents car.

He’s gonna need to move the wheels back on that mailbox otherwise it’s going to have a ton of sway.

Airbag sensors aren’t designed to sense vertical impacts, only front to back.
