I agree 100%. My wife and I were talking about this last night and discussing how much geeks hate Zack Snyder ... and I just couldn't figure out the hate that's constantly lobbed at him for 'Watchmen'. He filmed as near perfect an adaptation as we were ever going to get.

There were some missteps, certainly. But…

I don't hate it. I actually thought it was faithful to the comic (except the ending, which goes without saying) without going campy like 300. Most of the acting performances were great including Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Sometimes I think people hate it because they believe they are supposed to.
