Separate thought - this reminds me of those awareness apps available on mobile phones that use the microphone to listen out for certain noises and pipe them through the headphones so that people hear important noises over their music.
Probably will become a standard feature on cars just like blind spot systems. The emergency service proximity alert (ESPA - you heard it here first) might even become mandatory like they are doing with the engine cutoff systems that prevent long idling periods at intersections. Mine has the option to turn off “Eco…
45 y/o dad of two, and skater here.
If I were so inclined, I’d model a Topre cap to fit an MX switch and have Shapeways or another service print them in shiny metal.
I love my Native Union charging disc. It’s ironic that last night was the very first time I must have not placed my phone where it needed to be to charge and thus woke up to a low battery warning. And it’s unusual because I have always noted the screen light up and, if the phone is not on silent, the two-tone…
The mind boggling bit is that even if they swish past each other with less than inches to spare:
Gearing would definitely increase the chance of the motor overcurrent protection cut-out kicking in at lower RPM’s. The trick is figuring out if the lower RPM’s is balanced out by the additional thrust.
So he covered four blade prop config, but not top & bottom counter-rotating.
I truly believe that, in some cases, it’s a form of denial.
I’m curious, if the draw on the motors would not be too much, what the thrust would have been if he’d used two sets of props as either:
I would like to believe that in an unprecedented situation such as they find themselves in right now, they:
If you are in the market for comparable replacements, the Fluance Reference Series are worth a look. I had a full set shipped to my door.
If you can’t hear guitar strings and breath on microphones, then your headphones must be unplugged. That is not a sign of excellent frequency response, sound stage, or audiophile-level acoustic signature.
When they first opened, Bose stores served one main purpose - to demonstrate satellite and sub-woofer speaker systems that many consumers had never heard or seen before, and prove that they could compare to the big, space-consuming floor-standing speakers that traditional Hi-Fi stores would try to sell you.
He forgot to add that if a foreign country asks them to do the same for an American citizens phone, don’t do it. After all, double-standards are his area of expertise...
Wow! Me either! But it makes total sense. You sir, deserve a star!
I would get this just to play Tetris in it’s first incarnation and re-live the satisfaction I had when I first got the Cossack dance and subsequently launched the space shuttle in all it’s chip tune glory.
It wouldn’t have to be the only dock. There could be a basic AV & charging dock, and separate from that either a GFX dock, or a GFX black box that connects via the basic dock. Just like the Thunderbolt 3 enclosures people use to give laptops a desktop-class GFX card when needed.
Give the UFO a GPU dock option, so you can connect to a 4k TV and keep (or ideally raise) the graphics level and I’m sold. Would be great to game on the go with high graphic detail, but connect to a GPU dock at home and game at Max / Ray Trace level. Take a page from what Razr is doing with the NUC except make the…
