You get a star for going one step further than I did. (A snapshot and post of the comment history).  Didn’t you know we all have open invites to Gizmodo offices to discuss these things face to face whenever we want? We’re cowards because we chose not to schlep to NY to disagree with a random stranger on the internet...

You keep repeating “Keyboard Coward” as if everyone lives two blocks from each other and could discuss things in person but chose to post a comment instead.

(Too late to edit - that should have read Memorial Day to Labor Day - aka Summer Fridays).

I love my 35 hour work week (31hrs from Labor Day to Memorial Day).

I just flew back from the UK to the USA the day before this dropped. I have been a diligent mask wearer for the whole pandemic and still often do so in crowded situations.

Did they change the wording on the article or am I missing (in the article or links) where it mentions skin pigment? In any case, it’s not stupid to say flesh colored when it means devoid of pigment. That’s the color anyone’s flesh is, when devoid of pigment. See Vitiligo or Albinism.

Sure it’s a modern toilet, but when you have that exact one at home, it’s kinda...crappy.

I was just as surprised at the full-sized indoor tennis court on the fourth floor.

Could this run VR games? Since getting a pair of Oculus quests for the kids during lockdown, I’ve found myself wanting to try one with the cable to a PC capable of running Half-Life Alyx at decent settings. EDIT: Keyboard temp is not an issue with VR, obviously...

If they could get it to work on cellphones and attract over some of the 2048 or Candy Crush crowd, we’d solve this in half a day...

..effective against ALMOST everything else..

I remain open to all ideas. That’s where you and I differ.

Oh I totally get it. Ineffability is a wonderful reasoning point in that way.

My grail - a phone that can fit in pockets.

For all responses where things like fossils or anything that is counter to biblical canon area test of faith”, my response is that equates to (religious) humans relation to “god” is the same as humans have with rats in a maze or ants sandwiched in glass and sand. And if that’s the case, if there were a God I’m not

You’d think this type of stuff would kill off Young Earth Creationism and suchlike, but you’d be wrong to underestimate the persistent nature of intentional ignorance.

Couldn’t say. I only hit 24k miles from new since 2016. I did have one related issue fixed under warranty, where Eco mode became unavailable. Turns out it’s a separate battery (which died) that handles the Eco start from the main one that does the cold start.
