That’s exactly what they want. Hook people seeking a bargain, keep the people who are too lazy to cancel when the free month runs out. That said, I use prime to get free shipping on items I’d otherwise buy elsewhere so long as the cost is the same or less for the product and I share the membership (which is allowed)

I want a toaster that learns my toasting habits and makes insightful suggestions for additions to my toasted snack recipe repertoire. A toaster that reminds me when I’m going to miss my daily toasting goals. A toaster that I can remotely manage via the web so that I can start the toast while I’m sitting on the crapper

Preferred Delerious myself. RAW never quite lived up to its predecessor. But I see what you did there...

Agreed. It’s like that quote that goes around the web. “One failed attempt at a shoe bomb and we all take off our shoes at the airport. Thirty-one school shootings since Columbine and no change in our regulation of guns”

I was thinking the whole back of the watch would be a circular battery that magnetically attaches to the watch with a very small backup inside the watch for when you pop off the main battery and pop on a charged one. But that doesn’t allow for the heartbeat monitor, so back to the drawing board.

16, then I got bored.

I would have posited that as the use of tools propagated, allowing the creation of hides / furs / skins, and with them basic clothing, as well as a change in habitat (shelter building), that the need for body hair diminished. But I’m no anthropologist so I don’t know if those things came long after hair went away or

Meh. I can afford those drones and I don’t fly them for money. I fly them for fun. Whatever you think of my reading comprehension, whatever the parameters of the word “drone” (multicopter, fixed wing, helicopter - I fly them all), it’s what I do for fun. Therefore, it IS a hobby, to me, and quite a few others. Cost

Clearly you aren’t hanging out on the flying fields, forums and meetings I do, as a hobbyist who owns about ten, of varying sizes from palm sized to about 3 feet. I can fly the larger ones from miles away, in any direction if I wanted, including straight up if I were careless, so 1000ft is nothing.

Seems the aerial photographer types are the ones who would ruin it for the drone racing types. (And everyone else flying any sort of RC aircraft). The former tend to go high and far away, whereas the latter tend to cut the grass and stay in close proximity. I really hope any regulations that come into effect that that

Actually, 4ft is a normal size for a good Hex or Octo with DSLR carrying capabilities. Probably not a news crew, but more likely an avid aerial photographer looking to score some $$ by selling footage to a news crew.

You’ve never worked at Google have you?

The drone is the tech aspect. I didn’t realize providing medication to allow abortion for those who can’t legally get it, even if raped, was feminism.. I feel enlightened..

Ok, I must be watching too many episodes of Octonauts with my kids. First thing I saw was a giant crab emerging and heading for the boat, not a diver in flippers heading away from it...

If gun laws are anything to judge by, a small percentage of idiots won’t ruin anything for anyone. But who knows, maybe they will regulate them somewhat. But untill then, if someone smashes a flying weed whacker into a kid on a public street (and yes folks, that’s what these 250 class quads are effectively), it’ll be

It certainly should not be repealed, but exceptions can and should be made where appropriate. But people apparently (incorrectly IMO) fear that doing something as simple as taking down a flag on state grounds out of respect and acknowledgement of it’s divisive nature would set a precedent against which other

Pool noodles joined up and ground pegs (like you use for tents). Two noodles is a tight gate. Three is generous. Cheap, portable and highly visible.. :)

Depends if you fly Attitude, horizon or Rate (a.k.a Acro) mode. The former two will self-level when stick input is zero. The latter will not. What these don’t have that the Parrot does is sensors. The Parrot can see the ground, and uses that view to stop inertial drift when you stop giving input. These don’t. Go
