I love my 200Qx. Mine is pictured top left in the other thread. It's flying with an aftermarket carbon frame and FPV gear so I can fly it with my goggles.

Imagine why I have the guards on the big quad. That one is 250mm motor to motor. It's a flying weed whacker with the plastic props. If I fly carbon props, it will quite literally take slices out of exposed fingers that get in the way.

I'm selling the ladybug. It is the FPV version and I run with with a Devo F7. It's OK, but being Walkera it only works with Walkera transmitters and I'm not a fan of them. If I were you, and you've never flown a quad, Sean has it right - start with a little indoor quad. If you want to experiment with FPV, try the new

The teeny white one is the new Blade Pico QX. Prop guards are part of the motor mounts. I've bounced this thing quite a few times and it's taken the beating. Sounds like an angry mosquito. Both the quad and the controller charge from a USB charger. No batteries to change.

Just some of my collection!

Now playing

Hubsan and ProtoX use the same protocols. Turn on the controller, wait ten seconds, then turn on the quad. The controller should see the bind request from the quad automatically.

Missing one vital instruction - don't hold the trigger with the gas open too long. Ignite too much and it will go bang in the wrong way..

Given Borchetta's statement, who initiated the jump? Taylor, or her record label? Who first thought "screw this" and went to the other with their decision? Hmm?

Aww man. All that way to bork the landing. It's like an unmanned version of the Europa Report.

Until they can make motors without magnets or stators, I think it will be fairly obvious that, even with all else being degraded beyond the point of recognition, the little symmetrical pattern of Ferrite traces identify that it used to be a quadcopter.

You should check out the OLED LG set in a Best Buy. Blacks are blacker than Satans soul..

I think, when viewed from optimal distance, a 55 OLED HD should be better than an LED 4K. Color outweighing clarity. But what's the price on the Sony? (I know, wait for the review). If I was in the market to upgrade from a smaller set to a 55" I'd put down the cash for the OLED. But with a projector in my basement, I

Best Buy has the LG EC9300 for $3499 when the LG site still has the RRP at $6999

Nope. Nope. Nope. Don't mix in designer brands (sub $1000 watches) or uber, short run brands (over $100,000).

One large RC quadcopter, one regular RC plane. Zero drones. That plane has no autonomy whatsoever.

A gun that just melts in a fire...

The drone is not a stable enough platform. If you were to add the drones motor and avionics to the glider, you lose payload weight for launching rockets. Hence tow the glider with the rocket payload, disconnect, launch from a wide, stable platform.

Always boggles my mind that something so "small" can contain a nuclear reactor as its power source.

Shrewd move. "We're not anti-science. Science just happens because of god"

What about NFC credit cards? My Citi card comes with a smaller, sticky-backed NFC card. The sticky is to stick to a non-NFC phone or something else. I just leave it in my wallet and tap the whole wallet on the NFC pad, except not any more at those retailers who just turned theirs off. But I also enabled the same card
