I use it when games that search for GameCenter on startup hang in areas with low or no reception. FTL does that on the subway, and actually advises turning off the setting in Game Center, but I don't want to do that and forget to turn it back on. Works for in-game adverts too, as others have mentioned.

Ah. You drank the double-shot huh? I'd avoid the 5 hour energy version if I were you...

The benefit is that sprinters run a hell of a lot faster when being chased by hallucinatory 10ft tall spiders.

Feet are very close together. Even for a regular skateboard, they seem crammed up to the front. That's not good when a wheel hits a piece of gravel or a rut. You'll be right off the front when it jams. They should mirror the slide out section front and back, so that the backpack is in the middle, letting you put your

Centrifugal force is one such avenue of exploration. But total lack of gravity doesn't seem to affect plants as much as some thought. (See below). Radiation is more likely the bigger issue.

I wonder what voltage public payphone lines carry then? Home land lines can barely be hacked to power an LED night light, let alone a Wi-Fi access point.

Flat screens do suffer terribly from reflections, especially in bright sunlight. A curved screen, convex or concave, eliminates full screen glare. Concave would however reduce internal space and focus light at the user. Convex would dissipate light and allow more room in the center, while leaving narrow edges, like a

There seem to be an awful lot of instances of multiple dots all meeting at intersections at the same time and not stopping. Assuming everyone is using an auto-drive car, that's a hell of a lot of near misses scaring the crap out of the owners in the name of efficient movement.

As the article states, gravity and radiation levels are different on Mars.

If it's set up correctly, the Terrarium won't even need watering.

It may be a little heavier, but IMO, the Mission RS is a lot prettier.

Always preferred AutoMan over StreetHawk myself. Then again, Manimal was in his own category and equally awesome (when I was a kid).

Seems familiar, with a slight English twist.

Interestingly Toyota stock still continues to slowly drop from it's 2013 Q4 peak. Perhaps a different eco-friendly vehicle is destined to become the icon of same-day delivery?

Similar to this, one of the most innovative interfaces I use regularly (well, ironically less and less as it learns my patterns), is the Nest interface. A round dial you can turn and also press.

Yeah. When I moved to the US I was confused at first. "Dish Detergent" to me was what you stick in a dishwasher.

Glassholes who can afford $1500 probably aren't the ones looking to steal your ATM PIN. Probably someone would have more traditional, cheaper "spy" glasses or other device with a pinhole camera to do that. I don't see this detection system spotting pinhole cams very easily, if at all...

Interesting, but somewhat reckless. Seems to be a theme with Phantom owners. (i.e. people who buy an off-the-shelf quad and fly it in dense urban environments).
