Remember when CD rack spacing grew a few inches to accommodate the next new format - DVD? I also remember how some releases came out in CD size cases, but the majority insisted on matching the footprint of VHS cases, just thinner; the case format we are used to today.

My GH1 with anything other than a pancake looks just like a DSLR to the untrained eye. Perhaps the smaller, less featured units don't so much.
