Abortion is not remotely as important an issue to voters as it is to activists on both sides. The overwhelming majority of women (at least 75% if not higher) will never have an abortion. We all pay for gas and groceries though and the price of those have gone through the roof recently.

Crime is absolutely up because of the whole “defund the police” movement. Totally fair to vote out politicians more concerned about second-guessing police decisions to shoot at suspects than about protecting public safety.

White Mountain Apache is a Federally recognized tribe that has specific requirements for membership. I don’t know how much Indigenous heritage Ms. “Littlefeather”/Cruz had as a Mexican-American but she definitely lied about being Apache.

He was hot as Prince Phillip in “The Crown” and he’s hot here. As far as husbands go, Laenor was much better despite the goose vs. duck preference.

If there ever were fetal personhood laws passed and upheld by the courts (unlikely), IVF would not be banned. What would change is that doctors would not be allowed to discard “surplus” embryos but either implant all embryos created or donate/put them up for adoption. It would probably increase costs since the doctors

This is one of those celebrity breakups where it starts out looking like there is a clear victim and a clear villain only as the details emerge it turns out BOTH of them are awful people.

If taxpayer-funded abortion upon demand were the “solution” to fixing poverty, then why does California have so many people still in poverty? It’s the economy, stupid as the old saying goes...

I think doctors used to have groupies”

Originally the Empire was white British dudes but that won’t play with today’s audiences so we’ve been seeing Black and female Imperial officers & stormtroopers. “Andor” did obliquely reference the anti-female bias in the scene between the major and Dedra about her being held to a higher standard than her peers. Kind

Laura Dern is middle-aged now but she was in her early 20's when the first film came out.

Pretty sure most of the worst genocidal tyrants in history were atheists (Stalin, Mao, the Khmer Rouge, etc.) People don’t need religion in order to be horrible to each other...

If Halbrand is indeed Sauron, then why did he save Galadriel when she was sinking rather than just letting her drown?

There is a reason why “termination for medical reason” is generally used rather than “abortion”. It reflects the reality that it was a wanted pregnancy ended because of a medical issue rather than a purely elective procedure to end a healthy pregnancy.

It’s been pretty clear in the previous episodes that Ser Cole has been at the very least lusting after Rhaenyra if not in love with her. It’s not rape when he wanted the sex (even if he knew that he shouldn’t be having it). Just because there is a power imbalance between the two of them does not mean that he isn’t

The costume change could’ve been fatphobia (I’m not privy to the decision-making behind it). The decision to replace Ms. Feldstein with someone known for an amazing voice wasn’t.

Yeah, he went from dating hot models & actresses who are famous in their own right (Gisele, Bar Rafaeli, Blake Lively) to ones that clearly are seeking a profile boost. If Julia Fox were a decade younger, she’d probably be chasing him...

People can’t stand her because she’s mean in addition to being pretentious & self-serious. Plenty of singers are divas but the rumors go far beyond just thinking highly of herself.

Bernard was a host created to be like Arnold based on Delores’ memories. Similar to how host William was created by Halores based on her memories of the human William. So neither were hybrids like James Delos or Caleb.

SOME women prefer tall men. I personally would not want to date a tall man as I’m short myself. My paternal grandparents had over a foot height difference and I felt it was awkward. I prefer a man where my cheek is at his shoulder and that’s exactly the height difference between myself and my husband.

“Finding a man is as easy as falling off a chair for most women”: sure, if they’re under 30 or willing to date men 15+ years older than them. I’m 45 and if God forbid something happened to my husband, men in their 40's and 50's wouldn’t be interested in me. I’d have to be willing to date someone closer to my dad’s age
