It’s only the couple’s wedding if they’re financing it 100% themselves. I actually did have a simple civil ceremony at the courthouse but my parents were not going to be denied the stuffy sit-down dinner reception so they threw one for us 18 months later. I barely knew most of “my” guests because they were either my

Remember this is 1980's Indiana so the modern idea of “diverse” isn’t period- and location-appropriate. In the 1980 census, Indiana was 84% white and 10% Black, with most of the Black population living in cities like Indianapolis not the suburbs & small towns. Most LGBTQ folks were closeted outside of a few coastal

Why is the premise any more ridiculous than all the various “stuck on a space ship/station” shows? And it’s far LESS ridiculous than some shows that got more than 4 seasons (Stargate, Sliders, 12 Monkeys, etc.)

The 2nd season was far better than the 1st but I don’t think the 3rd season was as good. With the talent of the cast, the show needs better writers.

It’s been 3 years since the last season. I think the cutoff to complain about not having a “spoilers” label is about 6 months post-release, tops.

Say what? We’re not supposed to compliment people on their hair or clothes (things that can easily be changed, unlike body size)? Now I’m with you about not insulting people as that’s just plain rude. But if I want to say that Rhianna looked fierce with that jeweled chain over her baby bump, what’s wrong with that?

There are cognitive impairments severe enough that the disabled person legally cannot give consent to sex. In those situations, I do believe a judge should have the right to allow the guardian to have a long-acting reversible contraceptive like an IUD or Nexplanon inserted. That is a very different situation than

I generally like Stella McCartney’s designs but this one is HIDEOUS.

Aren’t Pinky and the Brain mice? And the whole plot to take over the world sounds like something FoxNews would approve of...

Yeah, apparently they’ve been married since 2014 and he’s been a vaccine skeptic since at least the late ‘90's, if not earlier. He had a point in getting mercury out of pediatric vaccines (it is a neurotoxin, which is why doctors tell pregnant and breastfeeding moms to avoid high-mercury fish) but he didn’t stop

I watched a few episodes with my toddler and felt like they were a bit preachy. Marjorie the Trash Heap’s poem about consent was particularly cringe-inducing but Mokey’s spiel about learning her lesson on valuing facts over intuition was also sanctimonious. Can’t Fraggle Rock just be silly fun and not “woke”?

I disagree. A big reason that “Family Ties” was so popular is that many families in the ‘80's had conflicts between those who were ex-hippies desperately trying to cling to ‘60's and those who were Reagan-loving yuppies chasing flashy materialism.

My understanding was that Kirsten saved everyone at the airport by showing creepy Undersea girl Haley that “Station Eleven” wasn’t a true prophecy but just Miranda’s graphic novel

The way I understood the show, the creepy Undersea girl whom Kirsten reads “Station Eleven” to outside Sarah’s wake, Haley, was the one who orchestrated the suicide bombings. She was going to use “beacons” (which I took to be mines) at the airport to guide Dr. Eleven home. Kirsten saves the Traveling Symphony and

I always get her and the other starlet Olivia who was married to Jason Sudeikis and left him for Harry Styles confused. I think this is the one who was with Aaron Rodgers for a while before Danica Patrick & now Shailene Woodley. Their dating histories are far more memorable than their acting roles...

I guess I’m confused as to whether Kaplan was attending the public events in his professional capacity on company time (which definitely should be a fireable offense) vs. in his personal capacity on a day when he has taken the day off. That seems an important distinction here. Why do other FB employees get to dictate

This has ZERO to do with abortion. The mom didn’t have a miscarriage because she was trying to self-terminate the pregnancy. She was a meth addict who experienced a stillbirth that prosecutors argued was the direct result of abusing meth while pregnant.

But why was she at home and not in the hospital? That seems suspicious right there.

She was only 21 so it would be pretty unusual to have severe congenital abnormalities in the fetus causing stillbirth in the absence of drug use. I don’t know how it can be conclusively proven to be the cause but why was she at home and not in the hospital? That seems suspicious.

I thought that “Midnight Mass” was one of the better horror series I’ve seen in a while. I am Catholic though so I liked the wrestling with theological issues. My guess is that people who are at least somewhat religious are going to like the show quite a bit better than folks who are completely secular.
