Bear in mind that my comment about a general dislike is based around the community before Fallout 3 came out. Also that I do not fall into this category either, if any clarification is necessary.
If you had wandered around the forums and heard people talking, yeah. There was an incredibly large amount of doubt, and…
A lot of people felt that way after Fallout 2.
Tactics, 3 and New Vegas are generally disliked, then you get the crew that say that New Vegas is the only true successor. Etc. Crazy times.
Wow, I can't begin to thank you enough for the recommendations.
I'll be sure to weigh my options, but I will be definitely purchasing one of the other sometime soon here.
Thank you, sincerely, once again!
You're far too kind, Shaggy! I sincerely thank you for taking the time to get back to me.
In terms of headsets, I'm looking for something PC related and I can go around 200 USD for budget. I have no problem spending a good chunk of money so long as the quality is there.
Also note, I generally do a run through with…
I have to tell you that's sweet set of headphones.
How does buying a boom separately with the headphones work? I've never actually done something like that before and after my previous dud set of headphones I'm ready to spend a bit more money for a quality product.
Tjoeb, I think it's time you went to the corner to think about what you've done.
I absolutely love the Orphen series. The whole dark, brooding angst angle never bothered me and I love anything fantasy related so why not.
This game though. This soul crushing game. No matter how many different times I pick it up, I can never finish it.
So the funny thing about a game is it can be well rated and still be underrated/unknown. Strongest example of this was, for the longest time, Beyond Good and Evil.
You know, if you talked to me during the first year and around the time when I played the Beta I would completely agree.
After coming back to it a year later, Diablo 2 comes across as completely archaic in comparison.
Don't get me wrong, I've invested hundreds upon hundreds of hours into D2. It's probably one of the…
I must confess I am rather envious that us PC D3 players will finally be getting what you console players have been enjoying for so long.
It's just a shame they're releasing it in the summer when the Diablo 3 expansion is coming out in late March. Granted, there's some time in between there but it's still going to be tough to justify playing if you aren't already playing Diablo 3.
You have to remember that what killed 38 Studios wasn't Kingdoms of Amalur : Reckoning. It was Kurt Schilling's desire to create a MMO. That was sort of their debut work from day one, and ultimately was what resulted in their financial failure.
The thing I don't get is this. Shutting down a studio that has had a troubled history (failure to move X copies of games, too costly to keep open, etc) is more than expected. However, saying Irrational Games is any of those is just plain silly.
We've seen successful studios slowly become less successful, or else…
Granted, we may not know all the story and 2K and Ken might have made efforts to make sure these individuals are put in jobs instead of completely left SOL, but yeah this absolutely terrifies me.
It's one thing when you hear of a studio doing poorly and then shutting down, it's another when the studio is successful…
Though, to confess, your reply to the poster does imply that you are referring to Virtue's Last Reward as being mainstream. Mainly because you refer to your opinion of not following the mainstream, and your starting topic post is about your opinion on the game.
As for it, I agree there's far too much hate for having…
In truth, I actually haven't seen much of any advertisement for Thief 4 since it's initial announcement.
While it sounds like it has gotten attention at E3, if you look at it in terms of regular advertisements (Television ads, ads placed around numerous websites, etc) it's been pretty barebones. Given that…
I'm in the same frame of mind.
Combined with a fantastic soundtrack and a unique concept I felt there was a lot going for Chrono Cross. Although, this kind of vitriol hatred was still popular back then for the game when it first came out. For some reason, some CT fans just really want to hate CC despite it being a…
Parallel worlds, but man the amount of rabid hate coming from your posts comes across as incredibly childish.
Leave it in your head and not posted on here.
