Ah, this story makes perfect sense. Guy who buys electric car because internal combustion is just so, dated, also decides that carrying a single debit or credit card, is just so, dated, gets stranded in the desert. Because sometimes the real thing is just better than the vapor version.

I grew up in South Florida in the 90s. As you could imagine there were always a lot of cool cars running around.

You’re right

My mother in law had an Escalade with those controls. I totally hated it.

Stop. Just stop.

Good. It shouldn’t take a fucking engineer to know that it’s easier to press a button or turn a knob without taking your eyes off the road rather than fumbling around in a touch screen.

Go fuck yourself.

I don’t know where the guy above lives but as a Floridian I can tell you that you can buy a single family home that isn’t falling to pieces in any of the small towns along US 27 in Florida for less than 100k.

God forbid you have to back that fucking trailer down.

This truck deserves all the respect. After all, it drove itself off a Higgins boat and stormed the beaches at Normandy. If it weren’t for this truck, those frog eating fucks would be speaking nazi.

So Chevy did away with the front engine corvettes which had ample rear storage space, big enough interiors, and pretty damn good sight lines and replaced it with a mid engine car that eliminates storage and has really shitty sight lines, a cramped interior, no storage space, but drives like a front engines car? MAKES

This looks like Florida.

I still prefer bars with smoking. You’ve just become accustomed to mediocrity.

How in the world did you think you were going to walk onto a plane with that?

Sad!

Well I suck big time. So my point remains.

Car sucks.

Suddenly the money I paid for my e30 M3 that sits in a garage seems incredibly reasonable.

I think you’re right. The same can be said for high horsepower outboard engines for boats. Mercury in particular.

We truck owners are thankful that you are concerned with our financial well being.
