We need a new benchmark for high speed. 100 MPH simply isn’t as exciting as it once was. Perhaps 125? 150?

Doesn’t happen with electronic parking brakes!
Makes me imagine someone haggling a salesman over the purchase price of one of these vehicles and then immediately demanding they buy it back.
Ok.
Yup, says that in the very last portion of the “Example” section which I believed held no applicable information. Surprise! That’s what I get for skimming a poorly formatted article.
The article has treated the current form as ready for consumption. So that is how I proceeded.
I didn’t find it hard to comprehend. It is just a ridiculously outmoded way of displaying information for consumption. It is an embarrassment to have these tables anywhere other than an addendum.
I did not read the example section where that information was listed. This was an article that didn’t warrant a full reading. If that had been listed first, there wouldn’t have been the need for such a lengthy article I guess.
Don’t have a VW, so it didn’t take me five minutes to anything. Presenting lookup tables just lets me know that the people in charge aren’t actually interested in providing the information to anyone.
So what should I call the math in this instance? Other than a waste of time.
Avoiding meaningless“work” is not being lazy!
Jesus christ. Tables? Someone (VW) should be publishing a god damned application to take care of those calculations for you.
The inside of my car is like a park. You bring your garbage out with you. I even take the receipt I get at a drive thru and put it in my pocket.
I highly doubt cars will be programmed to do anything other than stop as rapidly as possible. Once the program makes a decision other than stop, you’ve got excessive liability for making the “wrong” decision.
All of the cars are detuned from where they “could” be. Ford just happened to be tuned about on par with Ferrari resulting in a good fight there. Aston and Corvette were forced to sit in their wake.
No Z has ever sounded good short of an engine swap.
I think this is the spot.
I want to know when the V8 will be put in there. Every other engine is undignified.
Looks better in person (especially with the chrome gone). But I am biased by ownership.
That is the 2014/15 fascia and hood. 2016 has scoops and vents.
