I can take care of that all at once by saying I won’t be doing that either.

If the rumors are to be believed, there are a few reasons:

I’m not replying in all capitals. Does that count?

Well turnover isn’t necessarily a sure sign, but coupled with the rumors about development from an indie developer that hasn’t put out a game since 2012 it doesn’t bode well.

One what?

Sony sold the rights back to them, and I’m thinking that if it ever does come out you should wait for reviews before picking it up during a Steam sale. See the NeoGAF link I posted earlier for some of the background that soured me on the title initially.

So important that you felt the need to respond to my post to combat snark with snark. Frankly, you needn’t have bothered.

Work on developing a personality that is expressed by liking specific games? No thanks.

There was a lot of traffic about it about a year ago, around the time Sony let them buy the rights back.

Not sure how personality relates to the appeal of an indie game from a controversial developer.

I have much better games in my backlog that have yet to filter to the top, and if the rumors surrounding this developer’s practices and the troubles they’d had with the development itself are in any way true, I would strongly doubt I’d even add this to my download list if it were on PS Plus.

Your comment is no less valid than mine.

Great, now I have a wider choice of platforms to not play it on.

Well, call me a vote in the “really good” column. IW got a lot of knee-jerk hate, and a lot of people haven’t bothered to find out if they’re right/wrong yet. Having played through all of it, its a very strong campaign and Spaceland is awesome.

Actually Suikoden II is so good, it’s the best Final Fantasy of all time somehow.

Yes, especially if you want COD:MWR. Because that game’s going to be shackled to COD:IW forever. I have finished the IW campaign, and haven’t touched MWR. Its quite good.

Uncharted 4 for the total package. The Last Guardian was amazing, and a very close second, but for overall experience it isn’t really GOTY material. In fact it seems kind of wrong to judge it in that way, rather than just having it in its own category. COD:IW made a surprisingly strong showing as well, considering its

The Last Guardian made me cry. I realize that you don’t know me, but I play a lot of games and this statement is unprecedented in gaming. I wasn’t a huge fan of ICO, and Shadow of the Colossus was good and all but of the three games this is a technical and storytelling masterpiece. Second place for game of the year

Then Nintendo has to spend money to verify that every product that carries the Pokemon brand lives up to their quality standards, doesn’t do anything untoward with their properties, make sure their art is up to snuff so it doesn’t make them look bad by association, generally shepherd their project so that it doesn’t

The draw system. Nothing like a Final Fantasy game that disincentivizes using magic. And the fact that basically all your characters abilities were interchangable. I enjoyed the story somewhat, until the whole amnesia thing. Overall it was satisfactory. Still better than XIII.
