Before we start down this road, where are you getting this idea that I "like Digital Foundry so much" that you feel the need to continuously flog me over the head with this "fact" with multiple responses to the same thread. Have I mentioned them even once?

Yes I have seen that, and the bottom photo of that thread compares the Xbox One running for idle 5 minutes versus a Playstation 4's vents after running Killzone for 30 minutes. Not what I'd call a fair comparison. However if you click through to the individual links you'll see a better comparison where the systems are

Zing.

Easy, once they start production on the 20nm chips.

Just the "Blue Light of Death"... which also isn't a major issue.

18 hours a day since launch.

Yes, I had a very nerdy vacation.

Yes, you effectively restated my statement. For maximum clarity, "I'll trade getting a wobble that doesn't actually happen unless you pound on your console like an orangutan for the ability to play games on the most powerful console available."

They only did that because their failure rate was about 50% of the units at the time. For a year before that, they denied there was any sort of issue.

I'll trade wobble for 1080p any day.

What about all the third-party games that all look and perform better on the PS4?

Its only noteworthy because it could get a patch to 1080p and not affect framerate. We'll see how the Xbox One version performs tomorrow at 900p when the suspicious post-release embargo expires.

Even at 20FPS

Yes, all of them. Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, Need For Speed Rivals, etc. In fact, the embargo on ACIV for Xbox One is still in effect, but it has been confirmed to run at 900p upscaled. It will be interesting to see what additional reasons they have for maintaining the embargo when it expires tomorrow, after

I'm with you pal. I'd read it again and give it another go, but... meh.

Interesting. So even more reason that it "should" run cooler and yet...

If the Xbox One is anything less than a jet turbine it will be an improvement over the 360, however the Xbox One is not as quiet as a PS4.

If by a handful you mean all of them, then yes it does mean something.

The truth hurts.
