I like the concept of focusing on a smaller-scale story...instead of saving the country, you're just trying to get fuel from one place to another. Not only leaves the series open for future installments but, in my opinion, makes a tighter, more intimate story possible.

The buildable and destructable terrain offers a lot of potential for interesting competitive set-ups. And I would like to see more challenges in the single-player survival mode to encounter and overcome while randomly exploring. I look forward to seeing what Notch comes up with.
