DotA fans should be happy that it's Valve capitalizing on the success of the mod. At least they can look forward to a solid game that's likely to be extensively supported with free content and updates for years, and which will be extremely mod community friendly.

Well, Google dodges some taxes, like every other major corporation does, and Google gives back a lot of incredibly useful free services, unlike almost every other major corporation. I'd say it balances out.
