The issue with ANY choice based game is a simple one. The reaction to your action happens right after your choice. Distancing it both in time, as to be save-proof, and giving the player a chance to accept the involuntary change instead of instantly disputing it, does wonders for story-based games.

Telltale can afford to churn out this many games purely because of their own engine and platform. What i have issues with is the samey aspect of them. It really feels to me that the only game that actually got their juices flowing and they had fun with after their TWD success was Tales from the Borderlands, in which

Can i ask, how is this explained in any kind of lore wise. Was curious for the first one, having not played it, but now it’s itching me.

They’ve done all they wanted with Saints Row within its universe. This, by virtue of just feeling new, they can start from the ground up again. Also, this feels more fantasy and less low-brow humor, so it’s a different direction.

Nah.

Running on a Windows 8.1 that even since i fully shut it down, i haven’t been receiving any notifications or messages.

I used a third party app to remove any trace of a possibility of a win10 upgrade, including the icon.

That wasn’t /completely/ horrid, but it’s missing its market and target audience by a fantastic margin.

They actually have names like Astrahus, Fortizar and Keepstar. Citadel is the class, and its the first of the new structures designed to be ‘home’. Industrial arrays/drilling arrays/observatory and various other structures are coming up during this year and the next.

Keep trying, talk to people in whatever chat you have open Rookie/Corp chat. Everyone that plays the game wants to see you playing Eve and killing them when you know your way around it. Unlike dying communities that become a circlejerk until they die out, we value each new player and know that if Eve is to reach 20

Sadly, Mythbusters just ended its multi-season run. No more Mythbusters.

You can create ‘boss’ encounters without using bulletsponges.

Didn’t think i’d get triggered so hard for hearing ‘early D3'. My god. Played it recently and it’s a much better experience. Shallower, but better.

I watched enough House of Cards and The Good Wife to know what a ‘pack’ is. :P

If you’re not asleep within 30 minutes of taking Ambien, lock the doors, hide the key, and throw your router and all sharp objects in your house out the window.

I don’t buy comics apart from a few ultra-specific ones. But Kotaku is FANTASTIC at getting me up to speed with what’s new with Spidey and pushing out the oddball comic from the abyss of obscurity.

Personally, i miss RTTs/RTS’s have had some resurgence in the form of Grey Goo and Act of War as well as the Wargame series and Total War. But they’re more RTT, true. Base-building RTSes.. yeah, there is somewhat of a gap.

As long as the library sharing remains in, i don’t give a flying hoot about trading.
