The game needs you to think for it. ‘It’s obvious this option was put in for those people that want to wear outfits that take up /all/ the armor slots, and wearing anything else that’s armor on top of this is OP and not something balanced or designed for’.

If it can, only upgrade it with the first level weave that gives 30 armor. Otherwise it’s completely broken.

Road leathers look better than anything as a stock option. But really 10 hours into the game i installed the ‘more armorslots’ mod that basically allows you to wear any outfit as an underarmor.

About a hundred hours into the game i decided i want to make my character. I was already using the ‘Wear any outfit under armor’ mod, added the ‘ballistic weave to anything’ mod, then modded the newsboy cap to be invisible, and grant +3 charisma that i would have worn on my Agatha Dress/Reginald Suit otherwise.

And the Kotaku fish.

Install menu Fallout 2.

This. But then again, we all know why FastTravelling’s there.

Pretty cool.

A completely baseless factoid. Yes it can be equated that the ships cost that much, but considering you can’t get money out of the game, and NO ONE pays money for that since it’s a complete waste.. that sum loses its value tremendously.

Everyone on this planet is doing ‘normal people shit’, just with a twist.

Something i really loved that was unique was the scene in Solid State Society, the first series, where Motoko gets her head almost crushed by a heavy combat suit. The rage you see in her face was never repeated in the series. She then unloads that sniper rifle into that suit of armor, not even killing the driver with

That applies to three quarters of the anime i’ve seen.

I don’t know about that.

I want to know if the forced backtracking grindy-ness of the first one got smoothed out. The ‘upgrade to the rope bow so you can return to the first area to open a door’ system really got on my nerves since it was clear that the game expected you to backtrack given how upgrades were structured and how some stuff was

I agree. ‘You’ll be /what/!?’ That’s aside the fact that he/she’d be dead from the first arm ripping.

You have to remember, the first time Infinity Ward did it in Modern Warfare, it was pretty amazing and a great use of the medium. Some key differences being that you had control during the sequence and still, there was nothing you could do.

They could have weaved that into the story. Having more brutal and harder missions to the point where you would need to get said augmentations to progress, opt in. If you really pushed as a human-only, then you’d get something a lot tamer than this, explosion, apc crash etc and finally get one aug.

You know what’s ridiculous? This was made since ages past from the first Modern Warfare made by Infinity Ward. And it was done so subtle and so well that it worked. No Russian on the other hand, worked for entirely different reasons, but it was remembered. But this? This is just gratuitous story pushing.
