EA just bought their PR and marketing department, since that's what they really are. This will flop so bad.

It sort of is, but the freedom with which people can now directly contribute to developers makes it extremely hard to resist getting extra cash inflow in your struggling project.

They really should use the spell system from Morrowind. It was amazing what you could do with it.

Indeed. DoMM is one of those games that didn't cause a stir all too much when it launched, but years later, people still remember it. Dat superkick right?

I'm sorry, but things can be objectively bad or objectively good. Whether a company profits or not can have little relation to the product they're selling.

For a similar reason, i also play female characters whenever i can, and i'm a fully white male. The reasoning is simple, i just find stories with female leads to be more interesting. My best friend has a weird approach to games, but enough said, he recreates himself in the games. I never do that, i just approach the

Are you for real?

Ah no, god, did anyone get the impression World of Tanks is a GOOD game? Jesus no. It's really horrible. The best things about WoT is its extremely smart business, marketing and monetization schemes. As a proper true to god game, it has a truckload of issues and horrible design choices. But like World of Warcraft, i'm

Am i the only one that feels that the classic 'good vs evil' really doesn't cover anything anymore? It's barely even feels relevant in a society where good and evil depends on what newspaper or blog you read.

I'm disappointed that few drew her mouth as a little slouching as she has it. Aside from that, i find this utterly fascinating.

Actually, if it's the same one, saw it at Gamescom. Seems the right size. Man i wish Mechs were a real thing.

Exactly my impression. "So, Just Cause multiplayer mod?"

This have anything to do with Steam crashing today?

With you. It's amazing what with the resurgence of the bow in gaming how HORRIBLY it's done. Like no one does research at ALL on archery, and they take it just as 'what's so difficult? elastic bow pushes arrow via string, easy!'.

I applied for a job as a Marketing Artist where that's what you'd fucking do. Replace backgrounds in games with real images, antialias everything in Photoshop.. etc. Really, the picture would end up five times better than the game.

Same. It's interesting how Europe gets pushed into UK for some things.

I think it was mentioned that you will have to go to us.kotaku.com for the current kotaku.
