HOW DARE YOU STEAL OUR DLC IDEA?
HOW DARE YOU STEAL OUR DLC IDEA?
Sorry, my story would not hit the papers and would be something like "Man sells family fortune in gold and invests it in long-term bonds. He is reported to be living a moderate, but stress-free, lifestyle purely on interest alone."
Luke, you'd be surprised, but there are people that take airsoft really seriously. Some law enforcement even use airsoft as true force-on-force training. I know it's a matter of perception, but the airsoft i play is different from the speedball/paintball skirmishes airsoft is getting known for.
Speaking of chance on new IP's, what do you think of EA's broadhead attack a while back with Dragon Age Origins, Mirror's Edge and Deadspace? Any chance of something similar happening nowadays from other publishers?
What do you feel about publishers overstepping their boundaries in regards to creative vision. A great example here is Timeshift, which was initially a quirky very steampunk game with a clear hero, and the publisher turned it around into a sci-fi sort of thing with a 'cloaked' hero because that's what the publisher…
Damn. Now i'll have to stop liking Metric because it'll be too popular. Thank you Kotaku! ;P
Yeah, i know, i did play more than my part of Eve a few years ago. :) Doesn't make my previous claim any less true though. :D
Oh, look, the Excel sheets are fighting!
I can't understand the hype for game-related marketichandise. Saw a guy a few weeks ago going down the street in a N7 jacket and all i can say is "oookay". What does that say to the world about you aside from the fact that you like Mass Effect. I can understand cool-looking merch that you wear because it's cool, but…
It really is simple math to be fair, and all the media is making it as absolutely mystical science. You consume a certain amount of calories per day, varying by workload and stress. Eat less than that, and you will 'eat' off reserves. Eat more, and you will 'add' for rainy days. The trick is not overdoing it. If you…
This is how real men take loss, not whining over voicecomms and slamming things around like a 5 year old. Respect for my chill brother.
No.
Can they atleast NOT remove it from the game? Fuck retconning in development because of PR slipup.
So.. why does this game have sneaky assassinations and why is it called Assassin's Creed 3? I mean, i would be terribly happy to rename it to Captain's Creed and have the whole game with a full real time economy et all in the vein of the X series, with this combat, and you can even keep all the landlubbery bits as…
This is quite nice. Really. Will do wonders for RP-players and it actually seems damned nifty.
It has 'horror'. It's got thrills, it's got action, but it hasn't got horror. Sorry. The first one sort of scratched the surface, but having a weapon that is capable of utterly MUTILATING enemies doesn't help to further any kind of horror or fear you might withhold.
So can anyone tell me WHY they need real actors? High quality CGI shows mix seamlessly and beautifully and can really entertain for a good 45 minutes if needed. Also, they can be very easily made on the fly to correspond to ingame developments, and if a voice actor leaves, it's easier to cope with than an actor…
Truth. A lot of people attribute that to Warhammer 40k and Ultramarines, but it's entirely not coorect. As you've said, Starship Troopers was doing it back in what, the 70's?
Gods yes. That was a beautiful show that got screwed by programming and general bureaucratic crap. I'll never forgive them for leaving it as they did. Though, like the Battletech IP, i'm happy for any screentime Starship Troopers gets.
