Good grief, talk about resentment much.

I should note, by the way, that I’ve not got a thing against you Nathan- you normally come off as a guy with common sense and a slick sense of humour. However, your obsession with this dude’s wealth meaning he lacks the ability to empathise with people in a place he once was exudes... well, something other than what…
“What are you going to do when you’re married and stressed? Tell your wife that you need to play Xbox?”
He made the image. Thus, he has copyright on the image. That’s how copyright works. Nintendo can’t legally steal his labor.
And throw you on the pile of internet commenters that know nothing about game development.
I like how you assume that implementing a polished, fully-functional third-person mode is somehow a trivial amount of work that the developers were just too lazy to do. I mean, it’s not like they were crunching for years just to ship the game with one camera perspective. Nope, gotta be laziness. Damn lazy devs!
The “mediocre” game that hovers around a 90% critical rating on PC, PS5, Xbox Series S, Series X and Stadia? It’s fine if you don’t like it but your whole premise is based around the ‘fact’ that this is a mediocre game, and for all the Reddit wish lists of what it could/should have been, the fact is that these 13…
Again, I’m sorry, this game is NOT broken. Does it not run optimally on a base system, sure. Most of the big bugs were squashed in the first few patches and it even runs better now.
What a shame they launched before it was ready. I’m playing on PC with minimal issues and it’s a spectacular game that I’m enjoying the hell out of, but it really could have used a few more months of dev to polish it up.
They absolutely were lying, but I can believe that they were also in levels of self-delusion about how bad the gameplay on the base consoles would be. Like they knew it wasn’t going to be good, but they thought it would at least be moderately acceptable, you know, it’s not too bad, it’s just a little buggy, it’s just…
Nope, you’re not. Daikatana sunk an entire studio and was unplayable in any form. CP2077 made close to half a billion dollars on release weekend, is by all accounts really great on a sufficiently powerful machine, and will likely make $1-2b when all is said and done, even after the refunds and the drama.
Ah you can’t prove them wrong... Now they are gonna go over the deep end and bitch n moan even more....
Marketing doesn’t drop release dates on a whim, you know. The director, producer and suits decide on a time. (Though some times marketing will get the date wrong by going by the design doc expected date instead of the realistic updated date after life happens) Otherwise, if devs had their way, they’d never stop…
The model used is Ben Jordan. I’ve been following him for two years now so to me, it looks way better. The facial structure actually looks more realistic and the eyes definitely have more proportion to the face.
Disagree. Something about the old character model always felt off; the problem was equal parts technical, design, and hairstyle (the combed back hair). This feels like an improvement. I feel like the skin clings to his bones in a less distracting way.
I actually disagree here. The “Peter Parker” they had before seemed like he was part of the cast from a mid 90s “high school” film. I hated it. Hate not being a strong enough word.
The reason it will not be part of the show has nothing to do with time constraints. It’s simply a way of making sure those who know about the issues get the “apology”, and those who don’t, will never know.
So stepping up and using your own face and voice to apologise on behalf of an entire group of people you don’t directly manage but have to be accountable for isn’t taking responsibility? What would you suggest? Stepping down? Seppuku? I get that people were hurt, and it occurred on his company’s time and land, but I…
I mean let’s call the kettle black streamers you guys get mega ad revenue from companies and yet you’ll still peddle for donations from fans who think they are helping support you when it really is just padding your bottom line.
A friendly reminder: In the early 90s there were honest to God Senate hearings about how video games need to be regulated led by Democrats. Just two years ago our President was encouraging regulation of violent video games. That same President’s petty trade war was set to cause the cost of our hobby to skyrocket.
