‘Delay’ tends to have a negative connotation indicating a troubled development - I think they’re just conveying that they’d like more time to make it the best it can be.

You hit the nail right on the head with the ‘could afford’ caveat. This would have gone down very differently if Fortnite hadn’t turned into a cash-cow. I think most (if not all) studios would love to be able to do this, but 95% of the time all the money is gone after a game like Paragon fails.

Indeed Vive works with steam VR but I meant that you need to run ‘Revive’ if you want to play things from the Oculus store. Don’t get me wrong, both are awesome, although the Rift controllers really are worlds better (knuckles will even that out) but for the price Rift is in a league of its own.
