So sick of this argument. A car degrades over time, eventually wearing away to nothing and thus its value decreases along the way. As long as the game disc is not damaged then its value doesn’t decrease the same way, so there is a big difference.

That might be true but it 100% does hurt the developer, so don’t kid yourself on that point. Save a few bucks (or in many cases not even if you go to Gamestop / EB) but know that it does hurt devs and long term keeps the price of games so high to begin with.

As a VR developer, the games we’re making now would never have existed without Oculus funding as we simply could not have afforded to make them otherwise.
