Those ‘more diverse crowds’ in game stores are more often than not girlfriends tagging along against their will - mine (and ALL past girlfriends) have reluctantly accommodated me every time and its mostly all I see in the store when I go.

Why are we still talking about this. Of course they are withholding sale in the west due to guaranteed sexism backlash - how can that even be remotely considered a question? Developers are getting lynched (nigh on literally) for even discussing this issue. Can’t have your cake and eat it too, western market.

If you ever get the chance or opportunity to work with a developer on a game like this, you’ll understand that everything inevitably becomes ‘last minute’ regardless of how hard people work or how talented they are. It’s just the way games are made.

I was watching this gif with the Duck Tales - Moon Theme (orchestral remix) in the BG and it was truly magical.

Publishers have the money. Money = power. Don’t want the money? Don’t take the deal and find another way to get the money. Can’t get the money another way? Then shut up and be happy you get to make a game at all. This is a business and the guy with the money on the line has the right to call the shots.

I’m one of the few that had no problem when it came out and played through it completely. The new patch however has caused lots of issues for me (textures missing, lots of popin etc) so I hope they haven’t ruined it for me because I loved it.

For a company that literally makes billions in profits (mostly off the backs of hardworking devs), this is an utter fucking joke. Reinvest some of the profits to support your millions of loyal customers you greedy assholes.
