Kinect works just fine, it's just poor developer knowledge of the hardware.

Sensical or not, I love the ability to jump. High jumps, far jumps, wall jumps, double jumps, triple jumps, long jumps, backflips, jumps with inertia, rocket boosts, everything. If a game has a good feeling jump, I'll probably enjoy it.
