@Savocado: No, some things take more energy to recycle than others, and you need to know what does and what does not do so in your own community. You cannot generalize to all communities and situations.
The article speaks to the tendency among us humans to dramatize life events. We do it in both directions, not just the "lemons" direction of negative thinking. Joe Hallinan's book, "Why We Make Mistakes" ([www.amazon.com]), very well outlines one of our major psychological mistakes, that of being over confident, …
Vote: Digital Camera.

@LastAndLeast: I quite agree. This is the criteria to be used, but the grey area remains nonetheless. Content includes to some extent the presentation. It is unclear whether ripping a DVD is still the same content as the original, especially when the original contains FBI notices, trailers, etc. An ePub rendering…
When I buy a paper book , I did not buy the DVD or the movie of that book. I also did not buy the radio programme. I knowingly purchased the paper copy, and maybe I should be happy with that.
@Navin R Johnson: My Sony eBook Reader uses SD cards, and so I have a small collection. Also, I have one for my camera upon which documents are shot (like passport, ID, etc, for traveling) or I use if I am taking shots for someone else, all in addition to my main SD card in my camera.

My wife, a part-time professional stager, likens it to a cover letter on a job app. The purpose of the cover letter/photos is to bring the person in. The…
@DeadlyDad: I'll give that a look up.
The thought of more disposable plastic for such a small thing as cleaning a french press makes me cringe! The concept is very good, but the thought of more plastic in my life is not so hot.
You may want to use your own rare earth magnets. The magnets in the magnetic spice bottles I've seen in the stores seem pretty weak once you add an ounce or a few grams of spice to them.
Use portable apps. Use a different directory than c:\Program Files. Use a launch program set to the apps in the other directory, and copy the entire directory over.
When you look at real estate photos, all the better ones use wide angle, and very many of them are from 30" - 3' off the floor. They expand the space perception and allow more light in as a general rule.
We use tea towels here in Canada. For dishes (smile)
Look at the light coming from the upper left! the left sink gets significantly more light than the right one.
@duckyreads: Bird in the hand is indeed one of the evolutionary things that leads to temptation. Other predators, your own safety, etc., have made our forebears not think of it as temptation but as "must do's".
Two thumbs up! Good science method. Sources. listed, studies done. Does not claim final answers.
