Some 90's email programs did not have Reply to All as a button; you had to make the deliberate choice to Reply all.

The method that got me through years of university was Post-Its on a wall. Now whiteboard. The whiteboard is great, except when you reorder, you have to rewrite. With Post-its I move the post-its or draw lines (easier to redraw than rewrite).

Some apps have their own methods. While the Shortcut method works, I would have thought that MS would have made a registry entry to do this.

"Would I be shopping for this item anyway," has been my mantra for shopping for some years now, followed by, "Would I be getting it here?"

Patience. The number one emergency kit item. Having subtle reminders to take this regularly throughout the day and house help.

For we Canadians, verify that the Online backup source has no servers or connections to pervices in or owned by companies in the U.S.A., unless you don't mind your data being subject to the Homeland Security Act. That is, allowing parts of the U.S. government and their protective agencies full access

Most of our so-called "choices" are really between things that are either more alike than not, or where it really doesn't matter which choice was made in the medium or long run, anyway. If I am a repeat user/customer of something, then I say, well I will choose one knowing I will be able to have the other next time.

Call me an oldie, but I still do not use web-based apps any more than absolutely necessary (I keep one web-mail account for non-secure stuff).

@rick.rick: cum, as in the latin. In this sense, means 'and' It is a tin-and-chager-and-...? Pronounced the same way as the slang. #batteries

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT read the book, "Snakes in Suits", if you tend at all to the impressionable, or paranoid. #officeculture

We have two cafeterias in interconnected buildings. They both have Tim Horton's. There's two more within 3 blocks. And I live five blocks away. I think they've beaten the desire out of me.... #lifehackercookbook
