Most of the portable suites have too many apps, or a version of the app that is not my favourite, so I voted None. I pick my apps from Lifehacker, recommendations, from The Portable Freeware Collection, and the ones that I like go into my PStart portable launcher. #portableapps

Water creates the dissolving base, and it is more effective at higher temperatures. The real trick is the soap and the rubbing, which picks up the microbes and junk, and in the presence of water separates them from the skin. A dry towel is then needed to carry them away. Since you are not using water alone, the

Skyidiving list? Sounds like a bungie list {smile}.

Because I change computers and browsers occasionally, and because I am a minimalist, I cut/paste bookmarks into the date section of a MemPad (freeware, portable, minimal—google it) by pressing {F6} with whatever notes I want.. If it becomes a regular bookmark, I move it into another, organized, part of the Pad.

It works if it is someplace the keys won't get lost under things, or moved.

It is hard to get a good all-in-one system. The manual system that works for me is to use two power bars, one for items that stay on or which are not vampire (like the dumb coffee maker w/o timer) and one for the vampires, that I turn off when leaving. Low cost, but it works.

@menty666: Note that Mr. Clean erasers' key ingredient is _formaldehyde_.

I cannot believe that sending this 'email facts of life' is not going to turn off most of the people who still fall for these things (my mother, various others, especially retired persons). After all, they are the ones duped by the propagators of these things; do we want to make them feel worse?

I always give a few rules of thumb respecting hoaxes (and have been doing this for over 15 years). If it says to send to all your friends (family, community) watch out. If it says that Microsoft (McAfee, other big name) says that it is so, verify it, NOT by going to any links in the message, but by going to

I reach for my cell phone and bring it an inch from my eye and hit a key to turn on the backlight.. Anything else and I have to put on the ol' glasses.
