Yeap, traded them in for 2 Mini's and returned already for a Target gift card. I am not sure the checkout person did this transaction correctly however. They used the $25 gift cards I was supposed to get against the total price when I purchased the Mini's.

I was thinking they were playing with the numbers. Customer service had no idea how they applied them toward the purchase - typically it's for a future purchase.

Anyone who did this deal, did Target give you a Gift Card to keep?

Finally. Took a few visits as the guy was just not there, or too busy.

I called Nextworth (they are running the trade in program), and it's 1 iPad trade in per person. If they don't have a model you want in store, they are supposed to give you a gift card good only toward a iPad purchase and you can order on-line.

We will be near a different Target tonight, so will try again. I have 2 1st Gen iPads, so I am considering trading both of them in and getting a 16GB Air if in stock for $100 with the bonus $45 target Gift Card that is offered.

I have been to one store, and called another just to verify. This trade-in is now only good for credit toward purchasing a new iPad, from what they have in stock. You have to buy an iPad right then with the credit.

Well, that was a bust. Mobile guy was there, but was busy with some lady with phone issues. Told me I could come back in 45 minutes. He also said he got a "memo from corporate" that stated the $200 had to be used toward the purchase of a new iPad only, no exceptions. All they had was a single 32gb iPad Air in stock.

I'm going in an hour or so, as the mobile guy finally showed up and I spoke with him on the phone.

I still don't know. I went to my local Target, and they can't find the guy who works in the mobile area, he showed up then disappeared for hours. I guess it's 3rd party and not owned by Target itself.

Any store that sells phones in the back should work, I called Target and asked specifically over this.

This should be at most any Target. If they sell cell-phones in the back, that's where you go to. I went to my local target too late, they (electronics) left at 8pm. Will try again tomorrow when they open around Noon.

So you can't get on-line to download the 2-3 demos offered?

Did it say one trade in per person?

Called Target, they assured me I could do this at any Target store, as they all should have a Kiosk. This is good threw the 9th so will try it in the AM when much quieter.

I called target, and they told me that this can be done at any Target store. Will find out shortly....

In fact, when I search, they are only located in NC.

Closest Mobility store is several states away......

When I check the price on line via the provided link, it only tells me $65

I have two 1st generations sitting here as well.....
