Agreed. I really enjoyed this episode.

It made me happy during the Krill attack at the beginning of the episode when, after Kelly says something like “There might be families down there!” LaMarr grumbles (more or less), “Yeah, and there might be a whole lot of single people, too.” That point never gets made.

SEGA is not going to be making a retro console, or any console.

They are — this is hard for people of my gen that were on the SEGA boat to accept — now a small developer. When ATARI is able to put more into hardware development than you are? You are practically an indie.

I don’t think I could take another hour of them, but I snickered every time Gordon said an Avis joke.

Once the they told the children where Earth was I knew this was going to turn out badly. They’ll save the children, turn them over to the Krill, and the children will tell the empire where Earth is located. The Orville will be responsible for an attack on Earth or will intervene in some way to prevent said attack.

While some of the jokes a little bit forced or too snarky, if I was sitting around with people I knew and found out my friend could eat anything I would have passed him a napkin or a glass too. It things like this makes the characters a little more relatable, at least to me.

I really like that this show is willing to go with darker endings. It would have been so easy to with “the humans cared about saving the children so they must have souls,” which is what I thought they were going to do. Nope, making peace with the Krill isn’t going to be that easy.

I’ve been describing it as “TNG without the stick up its ass”.

Not gonna lie, I honestly think this episode was a better Star Trek episode than most episodes of Star Trek.

My dad was a serial cheater and everyone knew, including my mom. It was awful for her and myself.

Yeah, I’ve said this before, but between Macfarlane’s presence and the initial marketing, people can’t seem to wrap their head around a.) what this show actually is and b.) what it is they *think* the show should be.

To me: it’s a light AF Star Trek show, with a dash of humor and earnestness that just so happens to

Honestly at this point I’m no longer viewing this as a comedy except incidentally. It’s basically just a Star Trek, and not bad at it.

you guys aint seen nothing til you see her jack sparrow

I know it’s the new buzzword, but I can’t even describe the eye roll it produces in me to hear someone describe him/herself as an “influencer”. I stopped reading the interview at that point.

What is it that has you going back to V? If it’s art style, well, obviously there’s no fixing that. Pretty much everything else about the game is a marked improvement over V though.

“We could have chosen Roman Polanski, but we chose to keep going in on Louis CK anyway.”

Yes, his act is offensive to a lot of people. That’s his act. He owns that 100%. That’s literally the polar opposite of what you’re claiming in this post because his act is offensive, not the person. Can’t you tell the difference between something Weinstein or Woody has done versus an offensive act?

This is a trash opinion.

My mileage didn’t vary, it was weak as shit.

Louis CK’s act is to be the opposite of PC. Don’t confuse that with people who are legitimately disgusting humans. If you had any integrity you would remove his picture.
