I find barbarians to detract from the game so I turn them off when creating a new world.
hahaha hahahah
The terrain generation in No Man’s Sky is amazing!
I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they just reset/regenerated the server on the ACTUAL release day so everyone had to start over.
Oh yeah that would be very cool if that happened but the interaction with other players will (at least initially) be minimal if anything at all.
To be fair, the developers are just quietly doing normal developery things and it’s us fans and haters making noise.
Here’s a perspective: I’ve been playing video games for almost 40 years, I’m sick of the stupid stories I’m forced to reenact in games. The same ideas over and over, just repackaged in some novel/marketable way.
The more clever the procedural generation, the (potentially) smaller the size to a point. I see this as *fantastic* in that assets aren’t fixed and that most things will be procedurally generated which means infinite variety and that we’re not all running around with the same ship, at least cosmetically.
Okay how many people read this article and thought, “WTF, she’s just naming her books after web development tools!”
Mr. Number (Android app) has done me well for a few years now. Used in conjunction with Android’s call blocking for known pests and a personal temperament for avoiding phone calls to begin with, and I never have to talk to any spammers.

I just whip down my pants and poop on everything - my keys, my shoes, my wallet, my phone, and wipe with my towel.
When Winston’s enraged I can bang someone into a corner and pound them over and over and they never die, and I’ve used the whole time flapping around like a limp piece of spaghetti. I love playing him but that aspect is just really lame, he should be causing way more damage.
Mt. St. Helens in 1980. We lived thousands of miles away in Canada and everything was still covered in ash.
I can remember being a kid in the late 70's/early 80's and buying cheap Chinese knockoffs of Transformers and Superman and all sorts of other things.
“Shields up! Red alert!”
Windows 7 is far too recent? It was released almost *7* years ago!
Whoa, you must have a broken shift key. I apologize!
Why do you hate us? We did nothing deserving to be punished with a lack of capitalization!
