I wouldn’t say so. They should create the content for their intended audience and it is the job of the localizers to change and adapt on their contexts.

Skulls and skeletons are frequently edited out of Chinese games. There isn’t a hard and fast rule but it’s easy to Google how games like FFXIV, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, etc have altered assets for a Chinese audience. 

The Swastika was explicitly used by Nazi Germany during its atrocities. The symbol means different things to different audiences. And in the west the symbol, on its own is still used for hateful harassment. 

This is fine. An English audience has a different context for that symbol. Just like censoring the rising sun on Ryuji’s shoes in Persona 5 in South Korea, or China censoring skulls.

Based on the XP demo, the amount of XP you get from evolving pokemon is doubled (500 ->1,000), same with new dex entries (500 -> 1,000). They’re also rewarding for accurate throws giving double experience for curveball and nice throws (10 -> 20) and excellent throws going way up (100 -> 1,000).
