It seems likely that union shops report OSHA violations more specifically because they have union protection. Just because a violation isn’t reported doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

I had the same question. The article implies union shops have no OSHA violations when that is very much not the case from a quick search (in fact they have drastically more). A deeper analysis would have to be done to see if there is any correlation between the two, much less a casual relation.

I believe this is the median in question.

It rolled 90 degrees and went belly against a concrete pillar, tearing the bottom of the car at around 100 mph and producing a pressure wash of gasoline. It also hit another pillar at just above the hood that decapitated the vehicle and the occupants.

A three-hour commute, for whatever amount of time that it takes additional to my standard commute I would insist on being paid for. That is unreasonable to ask them to sit in their cars for 3 hours and likely another 3 at the end of their shift.

Kids will be out of college by then.
