No Billionaire has that much “cash”, it would be plain dumb. All their net worth is tied up in securities and investments, but those still contribute to net worth, same as anyone else.
They really should have done the GT in the same scale as the Bugatti Chiron, Lambo Sian FKP, Ferrari Daytona SP3, and Porsche 911 Gt3
Yup. It was posted on Reddit last year. And someone even questioned if it was safe.
Odds are high that multipel LEOs yelled multile orders at the person at the same time. Regardless of whether any of the orders were actually heard, one of the LEOs would felt bad being not obeyed instantly, thus the taser. Which yelling officer should have been listened to? Another case where the LEOs did not follow…
you don’t have to broke to be cheap.
“24,346 tractor-trailer-sized containers” is misleading. It is 24,346 TEU, which is a 20 foot container. Tractor trailers are typically at LEAST 40 foot, and often 56 foot. A more trustworthy statement would be “12,173 tractor-trailer-sized containers”. Consider correcting/revising.
How many olypmic size swimming pools is that?
Recognising his error, Schwarzenegger went to get a shovel to dig out the hole. He apologised, saying “I’ll be back”.
Um, nobody is defending anybody for throwing around that word.
Unauthorized use of a computer system to cause damage is most assuredly criminal.
Just take the L, dumbass.
Yeah, I’m treading carefully here but dealerships make mistakes; you can tell the good ones not by whether or not they make mistakes - not catching some dumb shit a kid did immediately - but how fast they make it right. Sounds like this VW dealer looked into it and made it right really fast. I’m honestly surprised as…
I mean, I’ve had 8 billion of those stickers in my windshield, and I’ve never read a single one. I usually peel them off as I leave the parking lot.
The message is part of a template, and the mileage gets filled based upon when the service was done, and the label gets printed.
One could argue that the kid who accessed the equipment to change the labels did commit a crime. He had no permission to change the dealer’s notification sticker, and had to know it was going to cause economic injury to the business. I’m pretty sure some ADA, even in North Carolina, could figure out a plausible charge.
Jalopnik covers all areas of transportation. Boats, airplanes, air travel, motorcycles, unicycles...
I have been called that word. I’m for giving the dealership the benefit of the doubt because I remember when I used to go to Radio Shack and type the following into their display computers:
There was even a very entertaining game released.
Yeah I’m 20 and remember watching the video and playing the games as a kid.
