It’s not much of a secret that there are high volume corvette dealers that sell Corvettes at MSRP.

Agreed, I did not think Chevy was going to say “Hold my beer!” to Dodge. (I know the peak torque is lower, but still).

Can we point out the driver knocked off the left-side rearview mirror against the hay bales? You can see it hanging on by the cable in the last few seconds.

Of course you do actually need to pay back the loans though. So Step 3 is more

Yes , I hate this. I’ve got a road with 7 of them in half a mile, a road that didn’t really have that much of a compliance problem.

I’ve been trying to find what the legal design requirements are for speed bumps are in the state of Pennsylvania. My township installed 11 humps on a 1 mile road. I’m not convinced my sports car can get over them without scraping as they are relatively tall with a short length.

It is common for hybrids. Realistically you need the high voltage electrical system that comes with the hybrid drive to be able to power an electrical AC compressor, it would be very hard to do with a typical 12V electrical system.

The first 7 years of routine maintenance on a Ferrari are included in the purchase price. https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/auto/car-part-services , see #3 The scheduled routine maintenance plan offered for the first 7 years of life of all Ferrari cars is called 7-Year Genuine Maintenance.

The authors do not write their own headlines, some editor at Jalop (at best) scans the article and comes up with the most click-bait title that comes to mind.

What about the length comparison?

Yeah, but you can sell your F-150 or Silverado any day of the week without Elmo threatening to sue your ass into oblivion.

Exactly. the article states the cybertruck is ‘nearly 8 ft wide’, but that is for the mirrors. The Cyber truck is 80" wide (as in 6 2/3 ft wide) , 95" with mirrors.

It ain’t less revenue. The government collects the same revenue.

No , I did not hear anything from them until a month before delivery.  Glad they hooked you up though.  I hope you’re enjoying the Rivian, ours has been great.

How do you think the tax “break” is paid by the government?

Ah ha! Someone that actually understands what the word ‘annoying’ means. Good grief some people are thick.

For those of us that cannot get the tax credit on our EVs - sure it is. I ordered my Rivian in 2021 assuming a tax credit, received it in 2023. In the interim the tax law changed so I could no longer get the tax credit. That’s annoying.

Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Amex will all revoke your ability to accept credit cards for surcharging for credit card transactions, with very rare exceptions.
