The hybrid is mostly about the extra power, they are taking this thing from low 400s to mid 600s with it.

Did they finally get rid of the split tailgate?  never could get my wife interested in the BMW SUVs because of that.  Very stroller unfriendly.

Similarly the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT starts at $189K.  And it only has 631 HP...  folks may not like it, but there is a market for these high powered CUVs.

You are right if they give up the reserved pricing that Rivian has (so far) kept for the early-preorders. A new buyer today isn’t getting anywhere close to that $67,500 price for a four motor R1T.

Which model year? I drove my sister’s Cadillac Escalade (~ 2017 model year) and the rear view mirror camera was okay, but did take a bit of adjustment like you are describing). Whereas my 2020 vette mirror camera is just a work of beauty.

I’ll correct myself - there is some commentary in other articles that BMW does not offer a camera-based rear view mirror on any models of the 2023 BMW, so I guess they are leaving it out.
