Those living in Texas decided to join the Union of the United States

You’re making a straw man argument with your “whataboutism”

Going to agree with Stevie, colloquialism or not, Putin gave an hour long speech laying out all his reasons , at least some of which would meet your definition of “reason” (e.g. attacks at the borders, US interference). While they are manufactured reasons , they’re more real than the justification for invading Iraq...

So yes, for stuff that really requires infrastructure and ongoing variable cost, I’m not against this model.

And for the record, my single longest wait for a train was 8 hours. That does not count the five or six times they have just cancelled all the trains and I’ve had to spend an extra night in the city, nor the 10-15 times I’ve either taken a bus, or done the NJT->Septa local rail hack (~3.5 hrs vs. 1.5 hrs on the train,

That new train station is also a fail from the perspective of finding a spot to stand where you can actually keep an eye on the train status board.  Much of the standing space shown in the picture above has no view of the status boards.

True, but everywhere else in the world the trains run reliably on time. Amtrak is such a train wreck (pun intended) that you never know if the train will be on time or if you will have a 3 hour+ wait.

My 2015 WRX STI is EPA rated at 19 mpg, I’m generally in the 17-18 in real life.  Gearing is so short on that car you don’t really get it back in highway cruising, the engine is pushing close to 4K rpm in 6th gear.

I was really hoping for a picture of the rod discharging.  Article is lacking.

“Keep f**ing with the seat and your warranty is void in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 ....”

Agreed, in my cars whomever was first to unlock drives the automatic memory setting. If the car is not locked, then it’s not going to auto adjust the seats.

So what exactly is your objection?

And just to clarify , the looks will be very similar, all the performance bits like the engine and suspension changes are the interesting stuff.

Agreed , technically a mustang with a wing, front splitter, and some side rails.

He kind of already did that to himself didn’t he? The police released his name, no need to dox him, it’s right there in the article.

I thought insurance companies would look at driving records and wonder why these folks were crashing so much and so soon after getting insurance

I agree, this makes zero sense and I would have thought it was day 1 in operator training.

Yes, very much so. Looking again, I think they tried to model off the style off the ford raptor, but it dos not translate well , it consumers too much of the side panels and then obviously need to be much wider.

theyre supposed to be easily replaceable and cheap.
