Read the article again Blake. Where is someone whining about the Corvette being delayed?

Chargebacks -> agree the rider can easily do that. And then once the driver gets a few of those, they will lose the ability to take credit cards (the networks have limits on the number of chargebacks allowed per merchant).
Good catch, I was going to make a comment about how this Uber stuff in California is just a first step towards trying to unionize the drivers but I thought that was a bit too far. But seems like he is headed that direction next.
It’s some California specific bullshit, they aren’t by federal law. https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/california-gig-worker-law-AB-5.html
Yes, they would be on rock solid ground, but no paying passenger wants this alternative model that you are proposing. You might as well require only flying cars can apply.
This about sums it up. I wonder if Raphael really believes this posture? Or is it just the reality that nuance does not generate clicks?
BTW there are some semi-legitimate reasons why this could have happened, the dealer should have been transparent with you. (so file the card dispute and figure it out later).
For a typical car loan, the dealer is earning $350 or more. They want you to finance.
He actually has the car.
Great advice, it’s even better than what you suggest, as soon as you dispute the charge, the card issuer generates a chargeback and the dealer’s merchant acquirer is going to take back the money immediately.
They posted another video, with the current battery, it weighs > 5000 lbs.
Bill is a google powered sea lawyer, apparently. You beat me to the punch, but nothing he cited states this is applies to RECREATIONAL vehicles , just commercial passenger vessels.
You’re right, the battery is bigger than what I thought they might have done.
Just to be clear, I agree with you. I was assuming the car was tuned for “five minutes of hooning”, and had a very small battery pack.. I’ll partially take that back:
I question whether the Ford is really equipped with a battery pack big enough to get it up Pike’s Peak.
I think legality depends on the state. I think these plate covers are complete BS, but I had one of those standard dealer-issued license plate frames (picture below) and the a NY state trooper was claiming that was illegal - but he wasn’t going to give me a ticket because he didn’t know the rules for my state.
Agreed! I’m all for some explained reasoning and appreciation of nuance in these comments. Vs. most of these ass-hats popping off slogans.
Anyway, Ford has finally decided to abandon the round-gauge mimicry instrument panel (IP) design concept and has jumped quite fully into really re-thinking what a dash can be like.
Agreed, but Europeans on some of those rivers, they cut it damn close.
Okay, you got me.
