Pretty much the same deal here. I renewed my passport and my parents’ passports in December, just because it needed to be done. No trips planned, although I’m entertaining the possibility of a trip in late fall. My folks got theirs in about 8 weeks, while mine took 10. I am glad to have it done.

Mailed mine in for renewal at the end of March. Received it a couple weeks ago. About 13 weeks then. Maybe 14. No trips planned, just had a year left on it. Figured it was the responsible thing to do...

The problem is that we’ve always had a culture where war has been entertainment for the people not being fucked up by the war, and everyone loves a soldier as long as they’re dying. how do you make a video game like this without glorifying the U.S. war machine?”

Make it a horror game from the perspective of the citizenry, easy. Endless, identically be-helemeted shadow figures becoming more and more violently engrossed in your life, barking a language you can’t really understand. The player could

He said he was proud I had a job I loved doing, but how would I feel if someone made a video game based on one of the most

Yowser. The good news is, the latest generation of nut runners can log the number of revolutions of the tool, not just the final torque, so at least they’d know that a bunch of screwturns were missing.
