Ting is just generic soda in a Ting bottle. All the little towns had a ting. For us it was Seymour and Werbelows and Black Bear and once in a while Ting if we strayed too far out of town.
Northern Wisconsin substituted Sun Drop in all the cocktails. Went through cases in the glass bottles every Christmas when I was a kid. Kids got the big 16 oz bottles of soda with the floating pulp. Everyone else got a little extra.
Birders are the worst. Seriously less considerate and more destructive than any of the Pokemon Go players that were in the news. They’ll drive across lawns, climb fences, tresspass and trample their way into any place with a sighting of the red fangled something hatch. THE. WORST.

Good idea, but then both leagues would be playing baseball.

It’s an unwritten rule. No one in baseball is allowed to have fun. From the emotionless “play the right way” veterans to the dueling MBAs in the front offices who are too busy modeling outcomes and market inefficiencies to watch a game.
At least ... is no comfort at all. It’s like telling people to toughen up.

To settle the debate, I suggest that rock music should have an nfl-style combine to determine the “best” musicians. 40 note dash, stamina holding a single note, etc etc etc. Then the Mel Kiper’s of music can really have something to debate about the “best.”
