Carmen Sandiago? Is that you?

Is that my cue to import? I've been asking this question at every juncture since it came out in Japan.

@NexusSIX: The one thing I would change about Tekken is the air comboing. The more "skilled" players just do the same ridiculously strong combos over and over again, and it really kills the game for me. I did it once just to survive the arcade (and because it turns out Xiaoyu can actually win if you do that), but I

So she's the otaku goddess, but until recently she didn't have either a PS3 or an Xbox 360? And then she bought a 360 first? That doesn't sound like she exemplifies the Japanese otaku.

@AntonF**kingEgo: I was just thinking of that. Going all digital had better also mean going cheaper, or we're just getting gypped because we have to pay for the physical hardware (memory stick) on top of it.

@Brian Crecente: I have never heard of microwaving them, but now I'm strangely tempted...

But this is so unfair! I mean, half the titles released for Wii have no Metacritic score! Because not enough people bothered to review them...

@Giolon: Actually, for Mass Effect they touted "infinite replayability" due to their supposed commitment to bring a never-ending stream of DLC to us. This time, they're only touting 1 year— maybe 2— of replayability, which, while more realistic, only makes me think they'll deliver less than on their previous attempt.

@Chris Torres: Wow... That was... Um, I don't know. Incredible? Unsettling? Frightening?

@Cbajd5: Oh, that's not as bad as it was made to sound. I could probably handle that a few dozen times; maybe only slightly less than the Japanese version. The VA's could stand to be a little more enthusiastic, but...

I try really hard not to think of them as the guys who made KOTOR 2, because my memories of that game are forever tainted by my dying xbox, which made the load times eternal (sometimes literally) and crashes quite frequent. I must have restarted the first level a couple dozen times.

@Mephistopheles: They killed the frog song?! Unforgivable. For some reason it hadn't occurred to me that the localization would be a reason to import; I think I was just impatient.

@Tzion is blogging this.: I did that once. When you miss your bus and are going to be late for class, you've got to use your might for something. Although, admittedly, I probably only chalked up two or three exclamation points. I'm just not that mighty.

Aaaahhh, that Archivist dialogue tree has so many references. Even the Deckard Cain rap!

Probably an eroge. Yamagishi wished upon a star or summat.

So I guess I'm still out of luck, since it's my computer's habit to periodically eject my hard drive across the room. Not much time to deauthorize my games mid-flight.
