Dunno why anyone even puts up the energy to argue about potential picks for the roster. I think the closest the community ever got to correctly guessing a character was Banjo, but there being unused Rareware spirits in the code helped a bit. Otherwise, everyone has always been off the mark.

I don’t think it’s wrong to assume any company has an R&D team that’s doing something. Hardware manufacturers go through a lot of prototypes, game companies test software that could target future consoles, et cetera. But that’s zero indication that everything they do will make it to a product.

Yeah, a game by a company that runs one of the world’s leading cloud platforms having server problems is... well, I want to use the word “irony.”

Sure BoTW looks good, but when a company has an infinite budget and a fleet of developers in the hundreds that know their own product top to bottom, that’s to be expected. There aren’t many 2nd or 3rd parties that can match up in visual fidelity with games that come straight out of Nintendo’s doors.

It looks like a game that was made to run on a Switch.

When they said they were keeping the original game intact, I figured they’d actually leave the base game untouched, including all the things that might not jive with the modern era.

Winter extends from December to March. February 2022 is gonna be the Chad of Chads.

They did sell those games then, but now in this console gen, it’s kinda up in the air when it’s pretty apparent on how much more profitable it is for publishers to just sell their own collections. Which is probably why we’ve only gotten bargain bin SNES games.

End of the day, I’d chalk it up as too much work to expect Nintendo to put into, just to get people to renew their $20/yr subscriptions. Especially for a console that historically only sold well in one region.

Don’t trust a guy that just uses an IR camera with very little understanding of thermal design. A lighter heatsink doesn’t always mean worse.

It’s not really going to do anything for developers. The ruling didn’t say anything in how Apple should enforce this decision. If they don’t find any loopholes or appeal this decision, they’ll throw up a bunch of rules that’ll make it very difficult to implement your own payment gateway.

It’s not a Namco Bandai game if there was no swimsuit DLC to go with it.

No, Bloodborne isn’t playable on it. Persona 5R is, though.

With the kinda shit Sony’s been pulling for a while now, like charging exorbitant fees for things like cross-platform play and actually being searchable on the PSN store, it should’ve been pretty obvious from the start that Sony wasn’t going to offer free upgrades forever. But that’s hindsight for you.

Welp, it should be pretty clear organizers can’t host tournaments with modded Nintendo games and host sponsored tournaments at the same time. It’s just not gonna happen.

Can’t imagine ever going for a disc-less console. Used game sales, bby.

My guess was because they needed to keep some revenue coming in while Dying Light 2 toiled in dev hell. Looking at the studios profile, they’ve got no other projects going on that we know about.

It’s probably gonna run exactly like Witcher 3 and any other 3rd party Switch port: the most convenient, but least ideal, way of playing the game.

Welp, Activision’s response is to be expected; they list out a bunch of other things to seem like they’ve been complying, to shift focus away from the notion that they’re not complying with what is actually being asked of them.

A wise man once said, “No game, no hype.
