And all they had to do was make it a Fallout game instead of a Fallout-themed PvP shooter.

Glad we can just hunt apex monsters now. It was almost criminal that the hardest monsters in the game could only be fought in the chaotic rampages.
Better late than never, but I’m not itching to pick it back up. Netcode on this game is too rough to enjoy.
Oh yeah, they do. Duh, how did I forget, I played the shit out of Void Bastards.
Gone from a charity to just another key reseller.
There’s an extended gameplay trailer that also came out today. I wouldn’t know it was a Tales game if I never saw the boxart. It looks like it’s prioritizing flashy moves and high production values over everything else. Characters don’t seem very interesting and have yet to see a clip where any one of them, you know, e…
I’ve played around with it a bit. Some levels are altered a bit if you choose to stay in the level, but there’s an ‘auto’ setting that retains the original level designs, but kicks you out to the overworld when you get those certain stars.
It makes sense, considering they currently don’t really have any other options on the table. Unless they wanna make a mobile Cyberpunk card game, they don’t seem to have much else sitting in the pipeline.
Finally pulled the trigger on ordering parts to replace the PC I’ve been iterating on since 2012, but guess I’ll have to skip the upgrade to RTX for a couple years. Can’t believe how a GTX 1070 I bought nearly 5 years ago would sell for the same price as the day I got it.
At least we’ll get the ability to search our games library now, another feature Switch doesn’t have.
I absolutely don’t need to games any more games, but I do anyway because I didn’t need the stimulus check. So many deals in the past several months that I didn’t want to pass up, like Horizon Zero Dawn on GOG for 30 bucks the other day, or whatever Humble Bundle farts out every month. There’s always at least one or…
Come one, come all, to the last E3 event, as they shift to a format they’ve failed to capitalize on for years. Watch and be amazed by the likely sub-par user experience that will probably end with you just watching the keynotes on YouTube later.
Oh yeah, I suppose. Though what is the state of the Japanese games industry? Last I looked into it, there was a very heavy shift into more mobile stuff. I don’t really have a dog in that race, but I’m sure there’s a reason Sony’s shifting into a western brand.
Money that Sony wants to just leave on the table.
I feel like I wanna say this, too, but they gave us like 10 games for free last month. It’s like now I got a sandwich and several sides of fries. Can’t really complain.
There’s already some shmucks listing their copies on eBay for $100+ in anticipation.
lol Not true at all. A license of a copy doesn’t carry over to another that’s downloaded or ripped from another copy. Companies lobbying against right to repair doesn’t really compare here.
So now I’m starting to come around to the idea hopping into FO76, now that they’ve lifted some focus away from making a Fallout-themed PvP shooter and put time into making it an actual Fallout game.
Would this be the reason why it goes on sale so often?
Nope, Steam version still running the older, broken build. Knowing Square Enix, they’re not going to bother updating it unless they’re utterly obligated to.
