More like thanks to the EU and US Senate’s antitrust committee.

I don’t think Skull and Bones is ever going to see the light of day, and at this point, does anyone still care?

It’s the best, by default, given it’s the only actual PS5 exclusive launch title (and I don’t think Astro counts).

I played the first one via a fan made translation patch, it’s pretty good.

The last section of this review just exudes Polygon levels of energy. Of all times I would see a very cynical, and somewhat hot take on the political landscape, it would be on a completely unrelated article about video games, and on top of that, make it sound like all the crazy shit going on outside is a reason to

I expected that was going to be an issue. All those bells and whistles like Quick resume, backwards compatibility with 3 generations of Xbox hardware and such comes at a cost. You’re gonna need an external drive to store games, and you’re gonna be moving stuff around often.

When this news landed last night, I was pretty for it. For the sake of preservation, better for devs to start on wrapping their heads around online services while they’re still running, or projects to replace them like Wiimfi (Wii/DS), Insignia (OG Xbox Live) or RPCN (PS3) would’ve been loads more difficult.

Though everything else, like grass, objects, textures and etc pop in like crazy.

Neither of these scenarios will happen.

Big fans, big heatsink, and the liquid metal is the cherry on top.

Even Sakurai was like “LOL not my idea, but here it is.”

Noted, and dismissed.

I guess a species potentially under assault by galaxy-brained mollusks is just one more thing to stack on top of the list of things going on in Galar: horrendous climate change, an alarming lack of ethics in the paleontology department, an apparent looming energy crisis, and every town at risk of a sudden kaiju

Fair. A good number of them most wouldn’t think twice about in competitive play, but they’re all still favorites to someone. Even Sunflora, the worst grass type.

It’s not all that much of a game development thing. If they wanted, they could’ve at least included all of gen 1 in the base game, as all models & animations added or touched up were wrapped up for them a full year before SwSh with the Let’s Go games. There’s no technical reason they couldn’t be in there.

Not entirely, but when the first DLC pack got dropped in June, data miners found out nearly everything about Crown Tundra: max raid spawns, encounters, etc. In the way of the roster, it’s adding all fossils except gen 4, just the gen 3 starters, a few 3-stage evos, most legendaries and Ultra Beasts. But in the end,

Not that much more than the first DLC pack. They pretty much revealed everything 8 months ago, we’re effectively just waiting to get access back to missing Pokemon.

Not surprised in the slightest. With my arms resting ever so comfortably in my chair, I’d say Microsoft should’ve opened preorders on their own site via a raffle first, and let the retailers bungle their own preorders at a later date.

Let’s be real. Microsoft isn’t going to handle it much better, especially if they’re still going to open preorders through the same retailers that have zero protections against bots to begin with.

So long, “so long Gay Bowser.”
