The thing about that is the target demographic, kids and light gamers, very likely won’t care. If they did, they’ll buy the OG Switch.

With all this Final Fantasy articles floating around, trying to play Final Fantasy I - XII, skip XIII, and XV. Tried to renew my sub for XIV, but my account seems to have disappeared, and I’ll have time to 100% every Final Fantasy that isn’t XIII before I hear back from support..
“Hunter, I don’t feel so good...” -Uraagan, probably
No wonder Odogaron was immune to the dragon element.
They seem to be bringing in all the previous flagship monsties, so it's gotta be a matter of time.
What can I say, I’m a total sucker for the dark fantasy theme it goes for. :P
You’re being awfully defensive about this. I like it too, it’s the most solidly built dedicated handheld out there, but I remain critical on the fact its software lineup that was supposed to be its key advantage over its competition didn’t keep it from failing commercially. And that its AAA lineup wasn’t really that…
I’ve owned two as well (three counting the PSTV), and I’d argue it still didn’t.
Like a Vita, but actually lives up to its promises. Now if only the jaws of life can pull Soul Sacrifice and Muramasa Rebirth from that commercial wreckage, as those two exclusives (plus P4 Golden) are worth saving.
Looks like you’ve got your answer. The Switch Lite isn’t gonna make the OG Switch obsolete; by the end of the Switch’s life cycle, Nintendo will have a Switch model for everyone (but maybe except a TV-only model, but probably also a TV-only model). Options are always good.
I too am too proud to use the easy mode.
Oof, I’m not sure I’d want to do that. I’d likely want to buy Stormblood as well, but then I’d essentially be paying to not play a big chunk of that content. I’ll just have to grit my teeth if I ever do get back into it.
Oh... That changes things for me.
This may get me back into the game. I’ve stopped playing shortly after Heavensward came out, and coming back in I’ve had enough issues easing back into things that I wound up abandoning the game all over again. Especially didn’t want to burden other regulars over it.
They’re practically writing his show for him.
Cherrim would be the cherry on top of this theme-team.
Assuming the rest of that pre-direct leak was true, which confirmed certain details on Galar and Gigantamaxing before officially dropping around E3 and today, respectively:
Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking, too. Though there needs to be more than just Oculus gunning it for affordable VR in the long term. I fear that Valve, like numerous companies in the VR industry, is falling into what some would call the “Enthusiast Trap.”
Dark theme is the best theme
I guess we’ve finally hit the point where the scope of the Pokemon franchise is beyond what Game Freak is capable of working with within a reasonable time frame.
