That won't help with passing, the wake behind a car would make it impossible to get enough grip to pass. Some of the best passing I've seen in F1 came from the ground effects era when they had tons of grip to make non-optimal lines work, but not so much turbulence coming off the rear of the car, nor did the cars care…

Just traveling for fun. It's one of my all time favorite destinations and I've been all over. You have to jump through some hoops to visit though, and they held my passport the entire visit because of a visa issue. But it was worth it all told.

Well you're definitely not buying it for it's simulation because it's not half as good as Forza in that respect. Having played both at E3, Forza5 > GT6.
