Is this the end of airshows?

Skeumorphs even creep into military equipment!!

Disguised as a torpedo?

You need to calculate a rate to make a valid comparison. IIHS uses deaths per one million miles driven, I believe. They set the standard for collecting and interpreting safety data.

Does anybody know anything about the three leaves (?) on the radiator of the BMW? I've never seen that before.

What proportion of these are leases?

I honestly think the dirty secret here is that there is no appreciable difference between most cars today. They are far more the same than different. Motoring journalists depend on distinctions between models to write comparitive reviews, and thus magnify the tiny differences that are there. Otherwise they’re out of a

I would wager that plenty of engineering resources went into the Tacoma, but they didn’t go into making the truck better. They went into its manufacturing: building it in fewer steps with fewer parts. Making a cheaper and faster to build while keeping the price the same or even a little lower and making the profit

This LCD clock the size of a nine-volt battery! It's TOO HEAVY!!

Not to mention the biggest steering wheel logo in history; lest one commit the embarrassing faux pas of forgetting what kind of vehicle one is driving.

Nissan never made a 3X0Z turbo because it would be too much power for the car’s rather pedestrian chassis, yes? They'd wrung about all the power they needed out of that V6. Anyway, CP.

After a small amount of googling and arithmetic that figures to be 144,000,000 doses of cocaine. Which leads to my question: Who the fuck is doing all this fucking cocaine?

Which is, of course, because Czechs are humans.

Can we please find an alternative to “hairdresser’s car”? This is the second time that’s been used in TT reviews here. You seem to use it with slightly more awareness of its cliché status than Mate, but it harkens back to when hairdresser was code for gay, and calling someone gay was a way to insult their masculinity.

“Head on over to Opposite Lock for e3pres’s look into the world of HPDE events, and how a nearly inconceivable tragedy like this one affects the wider automotive world...”

It’s really in a class by itself. Until now...

Sorry to be overly cynical, but what do we know now that we didn’t know before? That the aircraft didn’t dematerialize? I’m reading all these expert quotes of a “major breakthrough” and I'm not seeing it. Am I missing something?

Máté, let’s face it: “hairdresser” is code for “gay,” from back when it was acceptable or at least tolerated to use gay as a put down- a man who was somehow less than a man, and a car that was not masculine and powerful, just showy. But those days are over, so find a new trope to abuse in your car reviews, OK?

It turns out ignition is important for internal combustion!

I think the potential added value is for someone who wants to actually drive the car on a regular basis. It’s probably not $10K worth of added value, but there you have it. Honestly, there’s enough of these on the road for the drivers to drive and the folks who want to keep them original to do that.
