Really haunts me. Because it's just so plausible...I mean, insert any "life threatening situation" like "we're in a submarine running out of air" or "we're alone in the wilderness and going to be eaten by wolves so I killed by child to give them the mercy of a quick death", any number of other circumstances.....and

As sort of a surrealist, Twilight Zone kind of thing, I can actually see this kind of working...provided that they openly, totally devote themselves to presenting it as a surrealist kind of thing. Even remotely trying to present the "real life drama" of this would be too silly.

While you can always find a wacky costume from an obscure costume, the worst are the ones that get major characters all wrong. Top of the list are the "Batman and Robin" hyper-detailed suits (it's not just "why do they have nipples?" but that they show fake muscle detail....compare to Nolan-Batman's plate armor

But the Washington Generals are due!

The Four Elephants of the Apocalypse?!

I can't say much for the 1980's because I wasn't really aware of stuff, but I will say that the 1990's ultimately beat out the 2000's....given that we consider it the "Lost/BSG/Heroes" era of stories that start a vast mythos but then go nowhere until you realize they were making it up as they went along. True,

Mostly accurate but a few mistakes:

We've actually gotten conflicting reports about who "ruled" the Riverlands pre-Conquest: We've heard mention of Houses Mudd, Teague, and Fisher, but the exact order isn't clear. Moreover, it's possible that these houses didn't rule *all* of the Riverlands, just parts of it, but

Well there's a distinction between "overall power" within a story, and "coolness", which is very subjective. TTGL had reality-warping powers to the point that it was *throwing galaxies like ninja stars*. The Principality of Zeon Zaku II mech, on the other hand, is basically just a frontline battle tank. No question

at least Continuum seasons 1 and 2 felt fairly connected. Falling Skies rebooted itself every single season.

David Eick messes up yet another scifi TV series.

Yikes, Monday through Wednesday is just dead-air time.

I think the idea is that the Kaziri control keys are "talking" to Irisa's subconscious, using nanotech....we saw the exact same thing happen earlier with Sukar; the nanites influencing his thinking to push him towards a goal. I think the vision of slitting Nolan's throat was basically a threat, "tell Nolan about the

If you look closely, she drew an *exact* map of Florida..."exact" as in *including the Florida Keys*

What do you mean "Felix returns"? Did he ever leave?

Tolkien actually had certain languages which he outright hated, for structural reasons, particularly Slavic languages and French (he felt the Norman conquest ruined Old English). Everyone always asks what someone's favorite language is, but what are your least favorite languages? Due to any reason, such as

Hello Mr. Peterson, I'm that fellow from Game of Thrones Wiki who keeps pestering you about spoiler information: why was Daenerys referred to in Valyrian as "Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men" last episode, when the TV series has only ever used the title "King of the Andals and the First Men?"

I'm an administrator from the Game of Thrones Wiki. The writers and cast have repeatedly said that Jaime isn't raping Cersei in "Breaker of Chains". Also, Cogman had a podcast interview right after "The Laws of Gods and Men" and specified that just in case anyone was confused, the Iron Bank didn't give enough loans

How can a character be both a cleric and an atheist? That's like an ace being both one and eleven.

Well actually I was born ten years after the Vietnam War ended. As I said, "I did not lose my legs in Nam."
