"It didn't actually become raw suckage until Starbuck died for no reason, and then came back from the dead for no reason. The writers have basically admitted they had no plan for killing and resurrecting Starbuck — they just thought it would be a cool thing to do, and they would figure out the reasons later." —

A man comes into the ER with a TV remote lodged up his rectum, and you say to yourself "this man cannot possibly lose any more dignity"

""PATIENT STATES HE WAS EXPERIENCING AN ITCHY RECTUM AND INSERTED A REMOTE CONTROL TO SCRATCH""

It's unfair to compare armies from two different eras. As for the men, Alexander was an adaptable, brilliant genius who thought outside the box - he *coined the term* "cut the Gordian knot". It's not to say Genghis wasn't intelligent - and his terror tactics were VERY effective.

    Moreover, his general strategy

Cumberbatch would be a better Riddler. He's too poised and controlled to embody the manic energy of the Joker.

I see the Doctor's regenerations as sort of like...a man moving through different phases of his life. Moving to a new town or taking a new job, meeting new sets of "companions" - then losing them all and moving into another life stage. Sometimes you lose them for good reasons - they leave for better opportunities

The Hobbit *does* contain epic kingdom-level stuff, Battle of Five Armies and such. Meanwhile, it's not as if they invented the White Council/Dol Guldur subplot out of thin air - that *was* going on in the background, and they just chose to actually depict it (in the book it's mentioned only in the final chapter,

I actually really like Erik the Viking. Sags a bit in the middle, but picks up by the end.

Only "problem" is that it wasn't a straight-up farce; while a comedy, you sort of care about the characters over time - yet this is not a bad thing.

Given that Hannibal didn't get canceled but Season 2 will premiere on February 28th, I'm going to try to rewatch Season 1 and I suggest you all do so as well. It's only 10 episodes - I unfortunately missed 2-3. Moreover, the show is actually *very* continuity heavy but you don't realize just how much at first.

A man can hope this will sustain the new Toonami block.

The thing is, they didn't intend "racism", but Dany's "messiah complex" falls apart later on. YES, that's her story arc: she thought she could sweep in as some savior and solve all of their problems, she SEES herself as this great savior....and then it all falls apart.

I mean, it's not too much spoilers to

The heads. You're looking at the heads. I, uh – sometimes they go too far, you know – they're the first one to admit it!

    You can't be serious.

....it wasn't that he was fat - Apollo was completely lost as a character once season 3 began. Quite simply the writers ran out of ideas and had no idea what to do with him. They've *stated* as much. It isn't JUST "wow, Fat Apollo? Isn't that goofy!"

It's "....this was the only idea you had for the character, the

Barclay was great, particularly early on, because he was the only one who *wasn't* a perfect Mary Sue. He was s shy geeky guy with serious issues - when normally the cast was a bunch of Wesley Sues going "look how perfect our utopian society is!"

I liked Jool from day one. People were just upset because Zhaan died when she appeared (she wasn't Zhaan's "replacement" specifically, they had no ranks).

Let me get this straight. Basically:

Well, even from watching the movie you get the impression that "all of the healthy viable people left for the space colonies" and Earth is just a decaying garbage ball. Even if they're replicants or not, the humans are the used-up refuse - no children is a great visual cue that there's no promise for the future.

I'm not going to pay money to see this film *specifically because* of these crazy editing decisions. Doesn't Weinstein understand that *I am not the only one*? That his attempts to edit it have been publicized for months and are creating a massive amount of negative "buzz"?
